Your Workforce Care Nurse understands what can happen when a workplace problem begins affecting your mental health, ability to function, livelihood, and decisions about your future. Rather than leaving you to navigate workplace distress, medical leave, healthcare, benefits, workplace policy, and return-to-work alone, your nurse applies the professional nursing process to your specific situation. Your Workforce Care Nurse will assess the root cause and health effects of what is happening, establish a Workforce Diagnosis™, identify measurable health outcomes, develop a SMART Workforce Care Plan™, provide targeted professional nursing interventions, evaluate your response, and strategically reintegrate you into the workforce. Your care is individualized. We examine what happened at work; how it is affecting you physically, mentally, emotionally, ethically, and spiritually; what is interfering with your recovery; and what interventions are needed to help you achieve your identified health and employment outcomes. You receive: Comprehensive Root Cause Assessment Workforce Diagnosis™ Health Outcome Alignment Individualized SMART Workforce Care Plan™ Targeted professional nursing interventions based on your assessed needs Workplace mental health, medication, leave, benefits, and workplace-policy interventions when indicated Evaluation and reassessment of your health, function, and response to intervention Identification of barriers interfering with recovery and continued employability Professional nursing documentation, communication, and intervention when indicated Strategic Reintegration Plan focused on recovery, safe return-to-work, and continued employability The advantage: You do not have to become an expert in workplace mental health, healthcare, protected leave, workplace systems, and return-to-work while your own health is being affected.
