Power Move™ #2: Thought Career burnout doesn't just exhaust your body. It can cloud your judgment. Slow your reasoning. And drown out wisdom. Today's reading in Operation Mental Health™ reminds us to pay attention to the thoughts we didn't think but heard. "Do what God says. Trust the Holy Ghost for insight, reflection, judgment, reason, and leadership." Have you ever been driving to work when a thought interrupted your routine? Call this person. Don't send that email. Document that conversation. Take tomorrow off. Pray before responding. Sometimes we dismiss those moments because they don't fit our plans. But throughout Scripture, God often interrupted ordinary moments to redirect someone's life. As employees coping with chronic workplace stress, we can become so overwhelmed by deadlines, fear, conflict, and pressure that we stop paying attention to God's leading. Career burnout has too many Black career women believing they have no good options. Sometimes the next right step begins with a single thought. Not every important thought begins with us. Sometimes wisdom begins by listening. That is why Thought is Power Move™ #2. Power is the capacity, the ability, and the willingness to act.
