Fearless Friday: A Compassionate Call to Nurses Living in Fear

Your fearless future is calling. Are you ready to answer?

Nurse, I see you.

You are not imagining the pressure. It’s real. This journal article confirmed what you already feel in your body and spirit: fear is rampant in our profession. You’re not alone if you’ve ever whispered to yourself, “I’m not sure I can do this anymore.” The fear of being harmed, overworked, sued, or worse—ignored—is deeply embedded in your daily shift.

But today, on this Fearless Friday, I want to ask you something soul-stirring:

What would make you feel less afraid?

Would it help if you had a trusted “big homie”—a seasoned nurse who’s survived the trenches, seen behind the curtain, and knows the road ahead? Someone who can say, “Hey sis, here’s what’s coming next, here’s the trap you don’t have to fall into, and here’s how you stand strong without losing yourself”?

Because here’s the truth: when you’re drowning in the day-to-day chaos, when all you see is the pain and injustice around you, it’s almost impossible to see the bigger picture. But that doesn’t mean the bigger picture doesn’t exist.

What if You Could Zoom Out from the Fear?

What if instead of leaning on a manager who sees you as a number, you turned to God for protection and guidance—and partnered with an advocate who actually gets it?

Not just someone who’s “been there,” but someone who’s been there, healed—and now helps others rise too.

And if you’re currently considering FMLA for mental health or stress, you are not alone. In fact, this may be your divine pause—an opportunity not just to rest, but to reset.

You Don’t Just Need Time Off.

You Need a Plan for What Comes Next.

Because here’s what too many nurses discover the hard way:

🕒 Your six weeks fly by.
💊 You’re prescribed medication but still unclear on your next move.📋 You return with a diagnosis and restrictions—and no real strategy.😔 You feel more overwhelmed than before you left.

We’re here to interrupt that cycle.

At Glennae’s RX for Life®, We Offer Nurse-Led, Evidence-Based FMLA Support

We’re not just consultants—we’re protectors of your peace.

We guide nurses on leave through our Be Brave Book Bundle™—a 40-day, trauma-informed recovery plan that helps you:

✅ Rest deeply

✅ Reclaim clarity

✅ Regain your voice

✅ Re-enter your work whole, not harmed

Because recovery isn’t about returning to your old routine—it’s about rising stronger, safer, and clearer about your future to move forward.

The study made it plain:65% of nurses don’t believe their administration will protect them.

That’s a crisis of trust, and it’s not yours to carry alone.

You shouldn’t have to shrink yourself or stay silent out of fear of retaliation. You shouldn’t have to cry in the bathroom between codes. You shouldn’t have to choose between your mental health and your paycheck.

Imagine Instead Being Equipped.

Imagine someone walking beside you saying:“This is how you document.”“This is how you protect yourself.”“This is how you prepare your FMLA leave with intention—and return with power.”“This is how you say ‘no’ without guilt.”“This is how you build your exit strategy or elevation plan—or both.”

You Deserve More Than a Diagnosis.

You Deserve Direction.

Let Glennae’s RX for Life walk with you—not just on Fearless Friday, but every step of the way.
