The Moffitt Cancer Center’s RESET study sheds light on a truth Black career women already know too well: chronic stress, especially from work and social inequities, isn’t just uncomfortable — it’s unhealthy. It’s directly impacting our minds, our bodies, and our future. When over 80% of Black women are considered overweight or obese, and stress is a key driver, we must ask ourselves: What are we going to do about it?

At Glennae’s RX for Life, we believe you deserve more than another study. You deserve solutions that work — solutions grounded in your real-life experiences of racism, retaliation fears, caregiver fatigue, and professional pressure.

We know from listening to hundreds of women that stress management is not a luxury. It is a survival skill, especially when most of that stress comes from the job — not just from the tasks, but from being overlooked, overworked, and underestimated.

That's why our work focuses on helping Black women:

  • Set boundaries without guilt

  • Practice daily stress defense (not just self-care weekends)

  • Build workplace resilience while holding systems accountable

  • Reclaim agency over their health, not just be data points in a lab

We ask you:

  • Do you want to build better habits that serve you, not just your employer?

  • Do you want freedom from the feeling of being constantly on edge?

  • Are you ready to be studied less and finally supported more?

If you're nodding “yes,” then let’s move from research to results.

Glennae’s RX for Life is here to help you reclaim your peace, protect your health, and build a life not built around stress. This is about more than weight loss. It’s about healing from the inside out — mentally, physically, and professionally.

You are not the problem. But you do deserve solutions.

If you’re ready to start, reach out today. Your health is not a project — it’s your power.

Glennae’s RX for Life Liberating Black women from job-related stress through health equity, advocacy, and real-world solutions.
